I always emphasize the positive rather than the negative when I draw.  As a result, my caricatures are often flattering likenesses of the subject. I feel that this increases the fun and I let much of the humor be in the situations.   My drawings are more "Cartoon Portrait" rather than exaggerated true caricatures.

Choosing how you want to be drawn is part of the fun.  I have a sign that I use to show the many options.  Of course I can draw almost anything, but the sign helps the guests to see the possibilities.  The crowd enjoys helping each other choose.
