They can be done in the studio from photos or live at an event using a laptop. The live digital caricature is in color and takes about 8 minutes.  It can be printed out onsite and all of the drawings can be burned onto a CD at the end of the event. Digital caricatures have the added advantage in that they can be sized to print or can be used for printed materials or websites.
